Gentle hands. Growing care.
Our chickens give children a real reason to slow down, observe, practice care, and wonder about another living thing.
Green Garden · Madison Heights
Here, the playground is part of the classroom. Children climb, dig, test ideas, and return to discoveries. Our chickens invite a gentler kind of learning: noticing another living thing and caring for it.
The outside is ours, too
A child tries one way across the playground, pauses, and tries another. A friend joins in. What looks like ordinary play holds planning, problem solving, balance, language, and the confidence to begin again.
Our teachers make time for that work. They notice what children are testing, offer a question or a useful material, and let children take an active part in what happens next.
What makes this place feel different
Children get to know the playgrounds, the chickens, the changing weather, and the people who welcome them back each day.
Our chickens give children a real reason to slow down, observe, practice care, and wonder about another living thing.
Playgrounds offer movement, appropriate challenge, open-ended materials, and space to follow an idea further.
Teachers learn children’s cues, interests, and next steps so support feels personal at every age.
From a first step on the playground to a new question beside the chickens, childhood is already happening.
From first beginnings onward
Madison Heights welcomes infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and Pre-K children. Families can also ask about GSRP and summer camp. Lannie, our campus director, helps families get to know the people, daily rhythm, and program that fit their child.
Plan your visit
Madison Heights is one Green Garden school with a Main building and a nearby Infant & Toddler building. Tell our enrollment team your child’s age, and they will confirm where your visit begins.
Both buildings: Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–6 p.m.
Before you visit
Infant care, toddler care, preschool, Pre-K, GSRP, and summer camp. Our enrollment team will explain current age placement, schedules, and availability.
Our team will share program-specific tuition, schedule options, meals, the closure calendar, and current openings as you plan your visit and enrollment.
Children have opportunities to move, explore, revisit ideas on the playgrounds, and observe living things. Teachers adapt support and experiences to each child’s age and needs.
