Trusting parent partnerships

Building trusting parent partnerships is one of the most important aspects of your child’s educational journey. We genuinely believe that the parent is the child’s first teacher, and to have a successful early learning experience, we as educators must learn from the parents first. Our parents receive frequent and transparent communication in real-time throughout the day utilizing the phone application, Brightwheel. In this app, our parents can directly access their child’s teacher with the messaging feature. Aside from Brightwheel, we communicate daily during pickup and drop-off times and during bi-annual conferences, where we discuss your child’s growth and milestones.

Community that cares

We truly believe it takes a community to raise healthy, caring, and well-rounded children that will positively impact our future. Often, the early learning environment that your child is a part of is the first community that your child will know outside of the home. That is why it is so vital that we build a community that cares for your family!  The community that we have created extends far beyond the classroom. Yearly we offer family field trips, connection nights, and many additional activities outside our regular business hours so that your family can also build upon your community and meet other parents.

An extension of home

We strive to be an extension of home, not a watered-down version of school. Offering comfortable and beautiful classroom environments that feel like home. We believe the classroom is the child’s third teacher, and children learn so much from the settings they spend a great deal of time in. Children should enter a space that is calm and inviting. An area that tells them you belong here, it is okay to be your most authentic self. Through calming tones, reduced visual stimulation, and reimagined materials that replace plastic “toys,” children learn to take care of and respect the world around them as a classroom family.

Preschool at Green Garden looks like play but there’s so much more. Our classrooms are led by the children and supported intentionally for them. We incorporate the outdoors any chance we get and ensure our teachers serve as leaders of learning.

All three of my children attended Green Garden and we couldn’t be happier with our experience there. We transferred from another local day care facility when my oldest was 2 years old, before the other kiddos were born, and it was the best decision we ever made. Green Garden staff are caring and knowledgeable.
